Using Events to Amplify Your Brand

Leveraging events to amplify your brand is an effective strategy that can increase brand awareness, solidify credibility in the community, and create another revenue source for your business or non-profit organization. The event must align with your brand’s mission and vision and have a clearly defined objective to help with its strategic execution, follow-up, and call-to-action.

Whether you have a new or established business, getting brand visibility is an ongoing endeavor. Regardless of your event type, virtual or in-person, your brand’s DNA should be well represented. The logo, color schemes, event theme, guest speakers/panelists, marketing materials, event experience, etc., should reinforce your brand’s identity.

“Brands that create events for the community will always have the buy-in and the support,” said Allysen Kerr, Brand Strategist and CEO of Prymel Elements. “They won’t ever lack business opportunities because everyone will always know you’re there. It solidifies your connections to the community and amplifies your influence and impact.”

Hosting events can help affirm your expertise and validate your business or nonprofit organization’s credibility in the community. You can create a tangible, engaging experience that resonates with your audience, whether it’s a product launch, workshop, panel discussion, retreat, conference, awards show, or art/food showcase. The audience gets to interact firsthand with your brand, which builds community and trust. Asking and accepting feedback during the event can create a lasting impression that translates into support and promotion for your brand.

“There is something about being able to come together, bring that energy of the moment, and connect with people in person,” Allysen said. “Another great thing is being able to take that data from attendees to further expand your mission and audience.”

While the event can be a source of revenue, such as ticket sales, sponsorships, vendor tables, and merchandise sales, you can generate additional revenue through your follow-up strategy and call to action.

Many brands forget to send thank you emails and surveys to everyone who attended their event, including personal letters/notes to sponsors, speakers, and/or dignitaries. That is a missed opportunity. Your attendee list includes email addresses that you can use to keep the attendees informed on the happenings of your business or organization. You can feature ways your product or services help improve their busy lives, save them money, or improve the world.

“You can create a very simple email campaign for touchpoints that shows highlights from the event,” Allysen shared. “Another email can focus on a testimonial of someone at the event or talking about the impact of the event.”

Strategically leveraging events is a multifaceted process to amplify your brand. The direct connection with your audience fosters community and credibility with current and future customers. You can create impactful experiences that build lasting relationships with your targeted audience. These are the “Prymel Elements” working together to drive your brand’s growth and establish it as the expert while being able to increase revenue.

Having a strategy behind your events is critical. We can help you create a memorable experience that will resonate with your audience. Together we’ll devise a well-thought-out end-to-end event experience that reflects your brand’s unique characteristics and goals.
